Khabarovsk Festival of Films and Photos "Fringe: Travels, Adventures, Extreme"

From February 14 to March 9, 2025, Khabarovsk will host the Khabarovsk Film and Photo Festival "Fringe: Travel, Adventure, Extreme" for the 18th time. The photo exhibition will be traditionally held in the cozy halls of the Museum of Archaeology.

"Fringe: travel, adventure, extreme" is a colossal in Khabarovsk exhibition of photographs of nature, animal and plant life, the world of travel and extreme. More than 800 photos from 176 authors from all over Russia were sent to the organizing committee of the festival this year.

It will take several hours to scrutinize the unique shots sent from different parts of our country. The photo exhibition of the festival, and it is more than 150 works - the best that was shot by photographers - tourists on trips to little visited places. Rare shots from the life of wild animals, macro world of insects, landscapes of the most remote corners of our country, extreme exciting shots from traveling. The 18th edition of the festival will present photographs that Khabarovsk has never seen before.

Fascinating photographic works will invite visitors to sink to the seabed, dive into the mysterious world of plants and animals, look at the most inaccessible places of Russia from a bird's eye view. Together with the best travelers of the country, the guests of the photo exhibition will gaze at the bottomless night sky, meet the dawn on the seashore with a mug of tea, plunge into the cold water of a mountain river, walk along glaciers and climb high into the mountains.

 The traditional nomination "Travel" is preparing new discoveries for festival visitors. Guests will be able to feel a sense of belonging by getting acquainted with amazing travel stories. They will hold their breath in admiration of artistic images captured by travel photographers.

Thanks to the unique footage Russia never ceases to amaze both sophisticated travelers and those who are just choosing routes to get to know our country better.
