A pistol of the Delvic system.

The pistol is single-barrelled, single-shot, for Lefaucher spike cartridges, rifled. The barrel is octagonal, with a small protruding front sight on a solid rectangular base; the side of the grip is covered with a carved floral ornament. On the bottom of the breech face there is a low aiming strip with a recess. The handle is wide trapezoidal with an arched notch along the bottom edge; it is flanked by wooden plates. Marks: on top edge, gold inscription in gothic letters "FULLISSE A TRAPMANN A SIEGE". The trigger is at the base of the handle, oval at the end.

One of the rarities in the museum's collection is a Delvik single-shot, 9mm stud pistol, Western Europe mid-19th century (1852) - early 20th century (KP 10720). An item from old collections not previously on the books. This pistol was used to fire Lefaucher stiletto cartridges. The Delvigne pistol is a very rare weapon and has not been seen at gun auctions in recent years, for this reason it is difficult to give even an approximate value for the pistol. On the top edge are the symbols of the Belgian gun company Falisse & Trapmann a Liege*.
