"Night of Arts - 2023" (6+)

On November 4, the N.I. Grodekov Museum of Fine Arts will host the All-Russian action "Night of Arts". This year the Museum of Archaeology and the Amursky Utyos MCC will join the program and prepare their platforms on the basis of the Grodekov Museum.

Traditionally, the program will last 3 hours, from 20:00 to 23:00.

The main theme of "Night" in 2023 is the synthesis of arts. Together with partners, the museum team has prepared platforms where participants will create, be inspired, learn about the history of works of art and more!

The "Night" program is IMPOSSIBLE without master classes. Both adults and children will be able to make a souvenir for memory at the sites: "The Art of Avant-Garde", "Christmas trees are different", "Animal print", "Legends of Priamurye", "Fish bookmark", "Medallion painting", etc.!

Feel like a real archaeologist! The team of the Museum of Archaeology has prepared a platform "The Art of Studying the Past", where the participants of the "Night" will have a chance to be the first to see unique artifacts and learn about the results of the expedition conducted by the archaeologists of our museum at the medieval settlement in 2023. After that, everyone will be able to join master classes, where participants will feel like real archaeologists.

A museum is IMPOSSIBLE without excursions. That's why there are enough of them in the program - pump up your knowledge! Specially for the participants of the "Night of Arts" there will be an excursion "Panorama as Art", where we will talk about the artistic language of the Volochaevskaya Panorama. What is panoramic painting? How are such cylindrical paintings created? And what did the artists themselves wanted to say? All the pictorial secrets will be revealed.

In addition to numerous blitzes and mini-excursions, there will be two tours of our new exhibits!

• The role of Grodekov in the formation of the museum, which goes far beyond the administrative work, will be told on a guided tour of the exhibition "Grodekov: Time and Place".
• And at the sightseeing tour of the exhibition "Alexander II: Liberator and Reformer" from the collection of the Moscow Kremlin Museums the participants of the Night will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the personal items of the emperor, will be able to better appreciate the multifaceted personality traits of Alexander II, as well as gain new knowledge about the important pages of Russian history associated with the era of his reign.

But not only exhibitions and expositions will tell stories. Traditionally, the doors to the most closed rooms - the collections - are opened at the Night. Even the employees of the Grodekovsky Museum can't easily get into the collections storage, but the employees of the collections will give guided tours especially for all the participants of the Night.

"Art Night" IMPOSSIBLE without music and poems. That's why the Grodekovsky Museum team invited poets, vocalists and artists of Khabarovsk! Vocalists and poets will perform for the audience in the musical and poetic museum "Our Own", invited musicians will play ethnic instruments, and actor Peter Nesterenko will read poems of Far Eastern poets.

In addition to guided tours, master classes and artist performances, Art Night 2023 will feature lectures, quizzes and even a spiritualist séance...

Spiritualist séance of the XIX century! This era was the time of flourishing of various occult movements and practices. Magicians and charlatans, magicians and mediums flooded the Russian expanses, and spiritistic séances became a favorite entertainment in the aristocratic environment. Why did the most educated people of that time devoted their lives to the study of the occult? What happened in the scientific world of the century before last, which prompted the rapid development of esotericism? And who of the "magicians" eventually left his name in history? Answers to all these questions will be revealed in this "Night".

Residents of the Laboratory of Museum Design - the project-winner of the second grant competition of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives "It's all about fish" - will also join the action "Night of Arts - 2023"!
