When ideas become deeds. A woman who did not abandon the museum in difficult times.

Dolma Sanzhimitepovna Tsybyktarova was born on November 25, 1909.

In 1931, she graduated from the Leningrad Institute of History, Linguistics and Philosophy at Leningrad State University as a historian-ethnographer and began her career in Chukotka.

Since July 20, 1937 D. S. Tsybyktarova worked as a researcher in the Khabarovsk Museum and the Great Patriotic War met in the place of the head of the history department, and September 23, 1942 was appointed director of the museum.

She was the soul of the team, the accumulator of all ideas and endeavors. Demanding to herself and her subordinates, she worked hard and fruitfully. Often she did not leave the museum for several days, devoting herself to her work. The leading place was occupied by exhibitions devoted to the history of the country and successes of the Red Army on the war fronts. Dolma Sanzhimitepovna managed to significantly enrich the museum's funds under those harsh conditions.

From the very first months the museum began to experience serious material difficulties, the number of scientific staff was reduced. The museum staff had low salaries and no additional benefits, but in 1944 D.S. Tsybiktarova managed to get food "dry" rations for the museum staff.

Dolma Sanzhimitepovna Tsybiktarova is greatly honored that the museum survived during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
