Meeting of the Scientific Council of the Grodekovo Museum

On December 27 was held a meeting of the Academic Council of Grodekovo Museum, which summed up the results of 2022, announced plans for the main directions of scientific, exhibition, cultural and educational work in 2023, elected candidates for inclusion in the Museum Book of Honor.
The current year was marked by bright events: the Far Eastern Historical and Museum Forum was successfully held, 70 exhibitions were created, various projects for the 100th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in Russia and the 150th anniversary of V.K. Arsenyev's birth were realized. Several scientific works have been published this year, including a catalog of the archeological collection of Vladimir Arsenyev and a collection of scientific articles "Notes of the Grodekov Museum. The museum took part in organization and holding of the IV International scientific and practical conference "The Victory of Soviet multinational people in the World War II". The year ended with opening of the exposition "Khabarovsk Process of 1949".
Participants of the meeting listened to the reports about the partner projects of the museum in the current year, about the cooperation between the Grodekovo museum and the Association of Museums of Khabarovsk Krai, acquainted with the projects devoted to the 100th anniversary of Volochaev's battle and the 150th anniversary of V.K. Arseniev.
The events are scheduled within the Year of the teacher and mentor in Russia, as well as the celebration of the 180th anniversary of the birth of N.I. Grodekov, the founder of the museum, an outstanding military leader and statesman of the Amur Region.
2022 showed that the museum was and remains an island of stability, culture, science and education. It is important to continue to combine this conservative status with dynamism and innovation in its activities.
