The General Director of the Grodekov Museum on a business trip to St. Petersburg

Ivan Kryukov took part in the 120th anniversary celebrations of the Russian Ethnographic Museum and discussed joint exhibition projects with representatives of Russian museums.
On November 8, the General Director of Grodekov Museum made a speech at a joint session of the Association of Ethnographic Museums of Russia and the Section of Arctic Museums of Russia entitled "From the experience of creating an ethnographic exposition in Khabarovsk Krai at the museum named after N.I. Grodekov".
On the next day, Ivan Vladimirovich presented a welcome address from Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev to Yulia Kupina, director of the REM, personally congratulated the museum on the anniversary and discussed the implementation of joint exhibition projects for the next year. The result of the discussion was the decision to open the exhibition "Jewelry Box. Traditional Jewelry of the Peoples of Russia" from the collection of the Russian Museum of Modern Art.
We would like to remind you that the Russian Museum of Ethnography and the Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov already have an experience of effective partnership. N.I. Grodekov Museum has already had experience in productive partnership. In 2008 opened the exhibition "Slavic patterns", in 2010 - "The Cossacks - Defenders of the Fatherland", and in 2020 - "Masterpieces of artistic embroidery in the costumes of the peoples of Russia.
On November 9, there was also a General Meeting of the Union of Museums. Directors of more than 100 Russian museums, including Ivan Kryukov, director general of the Grodekov Museum, took part in the event. Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov already has a long time. N.I. Grodekov Museum has been a member of the Union of Museums of Russia for many years and actively participates in educational and outreach activities of the community.
The Union of Russian Museums is the only organization in the Russian Federation that unites the country's museums as public institutions. It systematically and consistently promotes the fullest possible disclosure of the educational and enlightening resources of Russian museums and promotes inter-museum exchange on a national and CIS scale.
During his business trip, Ivan Kryukov met with representatives of the Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House to discuss the exhibition project planned for 2023. The Women of the Silver Age exhibition will include photographs, graphics, paintings and memorials related to the fates of women of the Silver Age from the collection of the Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House.
