Final of the regional contest "Our Future is Khabarovsk Territory!

June 16 at 11:00 am at the Khabarovsk Regional Museum named after N. Grodekov will be the finals of the regional competition "Our Future - Khabarovsk Krai!", which took place from February 15 to May 15, 2023. 

This year's contest of educational and methodical projects is timed to the anniversary dates in the history of the Khabarovsk region and the Far East of Russia:

• 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Khabarovsk region;
• 165 years since the founding of Khabarovsk;
• 165 years of the Treaty of Aigun;
• 180 years from the birth of the Amur Governor-General N.I. Grodekov (the regional museum bears his name);
• 210 years since the birth of G.I. Nevelsky.

This year, to the two traditional nominations for schoolchildren and history teachers related to regional textbooks on the history of the Far East of Russia in Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the Modern Age (O.Yu. Strelova, M.I. Romanova, Russkoye Slovo - Textbook Publishing), three new nominations were added for teachers of other academic subjects in elementary schools, elementary school teachers, educators and teachers of additional education. Their teaching materials were prepared on the basis of the regional component of the content of general education.

By tradition, guests at the finals will be presented with the third regional textbook on the History of the Russian Far East in Modern Times: 1800-1914.

Another novelty of the finals will be the presentation of a methodological manual prepared for the textbook "History of the Russian Far East in Antiquity and the Middle Ages" (O.Yu. Strelova). In addition to detailed thematic planning, it includes scripts of educational and extracurricular activities of the winners and prize-winners of competitions 2021-2022 (M.V. Gorenko, J.B. Kiryanova, V.O. Melnik, A.S. Perfilieva, M.A. Polokh) and fragments of the best projects of students of grades 5-8 and 9-10 with comments by the expert).

The contest is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Khabarovsk Krai and the Khabarovsk Krai Institute for Development of Education (Department of Theory and Methods of Education, Laboratory of Regional Education Content). 

The project partners are federal publishing house "Russian word-textbook" (Moscow), Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov, Khabarovsk Krai branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
